  16.       shut down.  The license damons write out their last messages
  17.       to the log file, close the file, and exit.  All licenses
  18.       which    have been given    out by those daemons will rescinded,
  19.       so that the next time    a client program goes to verify    his
  20.       license, it will not be valid.  NOTE:    In FFFFLLLLEEEEXXXXllllmmmm v2.4 and
  21.       later, llllmmmmddddoooowwwwnnnn    is either a link or a copy of the llllmmmmuuuuttttiiiillll
  22.       program.  (On    VMS, lmdown is still a separate    program).

  26.             Use    the specified license_file.  If    this switch is
  27.             not    specified, llllmmmmddddoooowwwwnnnn looks    for the    environment
  28.             variable LM_LICENSE_FILE.  If that environment
  29.             variable is    not set, llllmmmmddddoooowwwwnnnn    looks for the file
  30.             /usr/local/flexlm/licenses/license.dat.  If    no -c
  31.             option is specified, llllmmmmddddoooowwwwnnnn    looks for the
  32.             environment    variable LM_LICENSE_FILE in order to
  33.             find the license file to use.  If that environment
  34.             variable is    not set, llllmmmmddddoooowwwwnnnn    looks for the file
  35.             /usr/local/flexlm/licenses/license.dat.

  37.       ----qqqq        Quiet mode.     If this switch    is not specified,
  38.             lmdown asks    for confirmation before    asking the
